About Bank Of America
BankOfAmerica began as Massachusetts Bank back on July 5, 1784. While Governor of Massachusetts, John Hancock himself signed BankOfAmerica's charter, which made it only the second bank in the United States to receive a state charter and one of only three commercial banks in existence at that time.
BankOfAmerica was the first to offer PC banking by way of a dial-up connection. This service greatly expanded with the growth of the Internet, and BankOfAmerica later offered the first free online bill pay service. Online Banking is one of the signature services offered by Bank Of America.
BankOfAmerica has more than 14 million active users, which is the largest online banking customer base in the world. Moving into the next millennium, BankOfAmerica is a technology leader offering voice recognition systems that provide better security, full-service online banking at ATM kiosks, and a personal finance management system that integrates with the online banking platform.
What do you think about Bank of America?
They took our equity line of credit eventhough our home has appreciated!!! We had to pay closing costs on this stupid loan! I do not recommend anyone using them and as soon as I can pay them off i will never use them againMore From Bank of America:
